Mimi leads us out tonight

Good evening friends.

Mimi will lead us out tonight.  This beautiful dog comes to us from the family of Lafonda Birdcreek.  As we can see she is very well cared for.  It makes Sammy & Family very happy to see other dogs and pets happy.

We know this is not the reality for too many animals in the world.   It can be very overwhelming thinking of that.  I try to remember the expression; ” Nobody can change everything but everyone can change something”

And with that, Lafonda changed the world one animal at a time.  That’s all anyone can do.  Thank you Lafonda.

No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed.  Amen.  Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.

Goodnight from Mimi and family

Sammy & Family and Their New Digs

Sammy & Family and Their new digs

Good morning friends.

The crew and I were having a dandy old time last night at the Martinez Residence.  Just a week ago we landed in Puerto Rico and it already feels like home.  The boys could not be happier.  I can’t believe how quickly they adjusted.  Patrick and Kelly are inseparable at this point.   A boy and a girl at the same age, yeah, I’m not surprised.

We were not able to get George (Vanessa’s dad) in the picture or Jeffrey, maybe next time. Raquel is not in the picture because she took the picture.  I suggested to the crew that we buy a long Selfie stick so everyone can be included.  So that’s the morning story friends.

Happy Sunday Funday.

Introducing Jeffrey

Good morning friends.

Here is our new family member Jeffrey we’ve been telling you about.  This is day 7 since Sammy & Family landed in Puerto Rico.  Since we got here Jeffrey in just a short time has made substantial progress.

Last week he was literally scared of his own shadow, i kid you not.  Now he is starting to come out of his shell.  We really love this guy.  Day by day we are socializing him more and more. I am confident in the near future Jeffrey will be running around worry free with the gang here.

We think Jeffrey is around 2.5 years old.  The worst is over for this little soldier and the best is yet to come.  He has his whole life in front of him.  If i only i can let him know that now he is known all of the world.    I guess that will be our little secret here in the community.  But even though he can’t know that, all of our well wishes for him can help his progress.

Happy Saturday friends.  Introducing Jeffrey

Kitty Cats Fami and Maru will lead us out tonight

Good evening friends.

Tonight Fami and Maru will lead us out. These two sweet kitties belong to our friend Kisse Böök-Paananen.

Sammy & Family has not spoken on cats enough in the past. It is no indication that they are any less important than other animals. We find cats to be as sweet as they come. The fact that they can be very independent doesn’t not mean they are any less loving, it just means they can be independent.

Sammy & Family adores cats. So with that lets send out one big #Meow and call it a night.

No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed. Amen. Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.

Goodnight from two special Kitty Cats

Sammy Chillaxing in the Park

Good morning.

Sammy Chillaxing at the park here. He never loses his center no matter where he is. The boys is so grounded sometimes i think he’s human.

Thank you for leading by example Sammy.

Happy Friday everyone.

Bark For Life Events Across Our Nation, great cause, great message

Bark For Life by Pat Grell

Hi friends.  Here’s a message from our friend Pat Grell;

During the next couple of months those of us who are dedicated volunteers with the American Cancer Society, will be planning Bark For Life events all across our nation.  At these events, families and their dogs come together for a few hours during the day and complete a one mile walk to honor the care giving qualities of their canine best friends and cancer survivors.

Canine companions demonstrate unconditional love, joy, security, compassion, and no judgments of cancer survivors abilities or appearances.  This is an irresistible way to partner with your canine best friend, smile and make new friends – canine and human.  We play doggie games, top dog and dress up contests, there is music and food, special dog guests demonstrating their skills in therapy, police or rescue dogs.  Vendors are invited to these events with many varied types of dog accessories, snacks and at some you can even get nails clipped/glamorized.

Look for a Bark For Life in your community and join the fun.
