Good morning friends.
Happy Poppy Rocky Lucky Tuesday. A day filled with hope and possibilities. Remember, if the Pops, Rocky and Lucky can make it, anyone can.
For all of our new friends, Poppy, Rocky and Lucky are 3 of our 7 dogs that had the decks completely stacked against them. But somehow, through love, faith and hope we all found each other. And now, the 3 of them are some of the happiest dogs on earth.
So anytime you’re feeling a little down and defeated, let the story of Poppy, Rocky and Lucky propel you forward.
OK, lets kick this day off with two positive.
1. Just because I was like that, doesn’t meant I have to stay like that. Everyday we get another chance to start anew.
2. Things can always be better, things can always be worse. What am I grateful for today. That is the question.
Day 955 here in Puerto Rico. Day 642 since we rescued Rocky, and day 112 since we rescued Lucky.

Connecting with Nature
Good evening friends.
What an exquisite day with Vanessa and my boy Lucky. Pure magnificence.
Having lived in NYC for 45 years, I never had that connection with nature. I always heard about it, but never experienced it.
Being connected to nature these last 2.5 years has enriched my soul. I understand now what all those people said to me back in NY.
Life was good today on August 26th, 2017. It didn’t have to be this way. Thank God that it is.

On May 10th, Lucky here was homeless. On August 27th, he’s part of a pack of seven. He’s literally Lucky 7.
From the streets of Puerto Rico to a home with abundance of TLC.
Lucky’s story can happen to any one of us on any given day. Let’s give today a chance.
Day 948 here in Puerto Rico. Day 635 since we rescued Rocky, and day 105 since we rescued Lucky.

1. Sometimes things only have to get a little better to be a lot better. Small tweaks, big gains.
2. If we want something to change, we have to change something. What will we do differently today than yesterday, so tomorrow we’re happy about it ?

This is No Ordinary Love
Good morning friends.
Happy Poppy Rocky Tuesday. A day filled with Hope and Possibilities. We have a very special Rocky Poppy Tuesday today.
This past Wednesday, just six days ago, I went our for a quick dinner and met this sweet boy in the picture with me. He was laying down right at the doorway where people entered the establishment. People literally had to step over him to get inside.
This poor boy was laying down because he was exhausted from walking endlessly and aimlessly.
I decided to bring him some food and sit with him for a while. From there, I took him to a veterinarian’s office and had him safely boarded.
He’s a black Labrador and sweet as sugar. I named him Lucky. Since last Wednesday, everyday after work I go play with him where he’s being boarded. Yesterday I took him to a close by park to run and play. Lucky had the time of his life.
Currently, I’m looking to find him a home. He’s about 10 months old, maybe one year. I have a few leads back in the states, but was curious if anyone out here was interested too.
With that said, I hope Vanessa will let me keep him. Because like the title says, “this is no ordinary love.
Once again, life shows us anything can happen on any given day. Let’s stay positive and keep the faith.
Day 857 in Puerto Rico and day 545 since we rescued Rocky.

Mother’s Day – 2017
Mothers Day — Because without them, none of us would be here. Our mothers gave us the gift of life. Our Mothers signed up for a life of unwavering love and loyalty.
