Brooke Johnson and Sammy

Good morning friends.

Happy Throwback Thursday.  This is our great friend Brooke Johnson.  We met Brooke in July of 2013 I believe.  She had been visiting NYC from Georgia.  It was a real treat for Sammy & Family.

Brooke is a great friend to animals and has a passion for horses.  If i remember correctly she’s a pretty good rider also.  I believe she can be called an Equestrian, i think that is the term.

Looking back on the past three years, Sammy & Family is happy we got to meet so many people before we left NYC.  Day 54 here in Puerto Rico.  Life is good.

Nasdaq 5000 and Sammy & Family 15 Years in the Making

The Nasdaq 5000 and Sammy & Family's Journey

Good evening friends.

Today was an historic day on Wall Street. The Nasdaq Composite went over 5000 for the first time since March of 2000. Please take a walk back with me 15 years ago. This is the origin of why Sammy & Family went into Social Media in 2010.

After years of being an assistant trader, I had finally been at the right place at the right time. I traded a lot of technology stocks from 1995 to 1999 with one of the largest private companies on Wall Street.  Now if you remember in the late 1990’s, the dot.com frenzy started and got so out of control that even Fed Chairman Greenspan warned of ” Irrational Exuberance”

Nonetheless the Nasdaq kept climbing feverishly in price through 1999 and all the way until March of 2000. Individual stocks were rallying 50 to 100 points a day. I was trading the craziest technology stocks through the biggest tech boom in history.   Continue reading →

Grabbin’ life by the bone is Puppy’s motto! Rescued from a boardwalk claw machine in Wildwood, NJ, Puppy now lives the good life in NYC.  Friends you can find Puppy on Twitter and Instragram @puppysblog.

Puppy is a Boston Terrier stuffie. Yes, a stuffie, who has had some pretty pawsum experiences; Bryan Cranston once pulled his ears, he was honored with AKC puppy award, he was a Calvin Klein model, he rode a pup-sized jet-ski. Really! He’s a cheeky guy and is very photogenic. Puppy loves traveling, good noms, making crafts and having adventures. He shares pawsitivity, love and humor with his all animal and human QTs. Happy Birthday Vanessa Martinez

Happy Birthday Vanessa

Good morning friends.

Its Vanessa’s birthday today and we figured to post this fabulous picture of Kelly and her.  Its always nice when a birthday falls on a Saturday.  Its like winning twice for the price of one.  I will tell you her age in Spanish, cuarenta y siete.  Shhhhh.

As you can see Kelly is trying to say something to Vanessa.  For the purposes of this post, lets just assume she is saying; “Happy Birthday Mom”

Late afternoon we are getting Patreeko Groomed, and then Henry tomorrow.  New groomers, new experiences, we’ll see.
