A Miracle Defined

A Miracle Defined

Goodnight Dear friends and family. This is Jessica writing to you tonight. We have a wonderful story tonight about an actual “Miracle” that took place.

My brother Scott went to walk his dogs in a local park today in Puerto Rico, as he always does. The dogs were all running and playing together and Scott was throwing the ball and running with them. There are so many stray dogs in the area and many times they pass Scott and his dogs at the park. But this day was very different. A beautiful dog approached. A very thin dog that obviously lived on the streets there. He had beautiful soft greenish eyes and a very loving face. He was very friendly , and unlike the other strays, he did not just pass Scott by. He went right up to them and started playing with them all. This dog showed no fear and really enjoyed playing with Scott and the family dogs. No matter where they walked in the park, this dog would follow, as if he was a part of the family. He followed my brother and the dogs around the whole time and wouldn’t leave Their side.

Scott was watching this approximately one year old little pit bull mix, and saw how much he wanted to be with them. He knew right then and there that he would not be leaving this dog at this park, and that this dog would now be coming home with them , to be a permanent member of the family. Other people in the park told Scott just to walk away and that this dog was “just another stray”. “Not anymore”, Scott said. ” I’m not leaving without him. From there Scott called me and Vanessa and Raquel right away and told us. He had absolutely fallen in love.

They took the dog over to the vet for the vet to remove any possible tics or flees, and to make sure that the dog was OK and didn’t need anything. The dog has not been named yet and is spending one night at the vets office , until he comes home with the family tomorrow.

One thing is for sure. This was all meant to be. This dogs life will never be the same. He will never be hungry again, or be wandering the streets on his own. He will from this day forward,  be another very loved member of our whole family. A miracle for him and a miracle for our family. It was love at first site on both sides.  As my brother always says; “Nobody can change everything, but everyone can change something”  — And today, this one year old stray dog was part of a divine miracle. The odds were zero on this happening, but it did.  Now we have 6 dogs.  We have not named him yet because Raquel is thinking of keeping him. If she does Not, Sammy & Family will take him and name him; “Miracle”

There are millions of dogs looking to light up your life and dying for that chance. If you ever wanted to create a miracle, bring an innocent angel into your home and watch the world change around you.

There is a reason the slogan; “Dogs are Man’s best friend” has been around for thousands or years.  A miracle is defined by taking a slogan and actualizing it into our lives right here, right now.

Goodnight everyone. Have the sweetest dreams.

No lives will go in vain. No pain will go unnoticed. Amen.

Love from,
