Elf and his Dad

Dad and Elf

Good evening friends.

Thanks for stopping by tonight.  Sammy & Family really appreciates it.  The title of this post is; “Elf and his dad.”  — We wanted to stop by and wish everyone a Happy Holiday.  We hope its been a great season for you all.

So the countdown for Christmas is on like “Donkey Kong.”  To all the millennials feel free to Google that name to understand the reference.  What a year this has been. I left NYC on January 11th, 2015 right before a brutal Winter last year.  I guess that’s where the slogan;  “I would rather be lucky than good” comes from.

The Smith family and Sammy & Family are humbled as we know many animals and people are alone through the holidays. For many its just more time alone, needn’t matter what month it is. We pray its starts getting better for them immediately.

I say this to our friends around the world pretty much every season.  Some of you have even taken me up on it.  If you need to reach out, here is my email; smith7024@yahoo.com and we can connect from there.  One of the good things that came out of all the screws up I’ve had is experience. Many a times when people connect with me, I’ve been where they are, and know the way out. Or at least the way to it getting just a little better.  Sometimes just a little bit better leads to a bigger rally and a new lease on life.

So open invitation for anyone and everyone.  Most importantly, we do the best we can with what we have in this life.  No need to take anything personal.  If you have no family, then we are your family.  Everyone gets admitted to our family.

OK, lets close with two positive notions.

1. Remember the Chinese proverb; “If you fall down 7 times, you get up 8 times” — It does not matter what your score is. We suit up and show up.  If we do that, we are all winners.  Case closed.

2. Nobody can change everything, everyone can change something. A guaranteed way to create a miracle is to rescue a pet in need of a loving home.  You will be saving a life, and they will take your life to new heights and a higher sense of purpose.  We call that a;  “Win Win”
