Gavin Brown deserves a First Class Ticket to Heaven

Gavin Brown died a hero saving his best friend, Rudy the German Sheppard mix

Gavin Brown, 34 year old from Brooklyn NY died on Sunday saving his best friend Rudy, a German Sheppard mix. Him and his fiance rented a house for a weekend getaway in the Finger Lakes town of Naples, 40 miles southeast of Rochester.

Gavin took his dog out for a walk near a frozen pond.  Rudy apparently broke looks and ran onto the ice and fell right through it.  Gavin ran back to the cabin to tell his fiance to call 911.  He then ran into the pond to save Rudy and fell through ice as well.  He manged to pull Rudy from the ice but unfortunately Gavin got stuck under the ice and didn’t make it out.

Wow, as I’m reading and writing this I’m speechless.  What a heart this guy had.  Even knowing 911 was on the way, he was not taking any chances, he ran right back into the pond to save Rudy.  That was love and commitment in the first degree.

Rest In peace Gavin Brown

His family made a statement that he was too young to die, but died a hero saving his best friend.

Rest in Peace Gavin Brown.  Sammy & Family and friends prays for you.  We pray that your fiance and Rudy can eventually find peace and make it through the shock of this.

No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed.  Amen. Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.
