Good morning friends. As you can see Kelly has three hearts in mind. One for Sammy, one for Henry and one for Patreeko. There’s a lot of love in this household.

Now if i may go on an A.D.D. tangent for 30 seconds, I would like to twist up the lyrics of two songs.

Sammy & Family on Monday Night, March 30th, 2015

Good evening friends.

Hope everyone had a nice day today. Monday’s can be so funny, we still have one foot in the weekend and the other cautiously starts a new week. Usually when i got home from work on a Monday’s I felt like i was in the twilight zone, an acceptable delirium if you will.

Anyway, its great to be here with everyone tonight. Sammy & family’s favorite part of the day is mornings with ELS, and evenings with ELS. Its been nice getting to know some of you on my personal Facebook wall. I know we all know each other here, but a more personal touch is nice sometimes. I have had so many screen names of my dogs, myself, Dr. Harp Seal, ELS, The Good News Channel and etc, its nice to be Scott Evan Smith again on my personal Facebook. If anyone on ELS wants to come friend me, everyone’s welcome. So it’s not Patrick Smith any longer, its just plain; “Scott Evan Smith” That’s how you can find me.

So friends, we have some surprises coming in next month or so which i think are very exciting. After years of writing and producing ideas, we are putting together some sweet and crafty stuff. I will give you a little hint, ELS could also stand for; ” Every Lasting Sammy” But that is all i can say at the moment.

Wednesday morning we have a great feature coming up on The Good News Channel, it’s either going to be on Barry Wilmore, the Astronaut who got one of the greatest Selfies ever this past February, or my great friend Kat who is currently traveling through India and teaching Yoga. Now is that diversity or what ?

Let’s close with this, 95 percent of success is just showing up. Some very smart people once told me; “Suit up and show up for you life”

Never Judge a Book by it’s Cover

Good morning friends.

Did you ever try to take a picture of 5 people with 5 dogs standing only 3 feet back ?

The entire room was in a state of disarray. We took 100 pictures and this was the best we got. I kid you not, Steven Spielberg and George Lucas could not have pulled this off.

Vanessa took this picture and basically was leaning back on one leg, using one arm to get it done. It might not be a great picture quality wise, but the execution of the picture was artistic.

Hey man, when it comes to family, if you gotta bob and weave, you bob and weave. On the left is Myriam, Raquel’s twin sister, and Vanessa’s younger sister, then comes Jorge, he’s big Papa, on the floor in the middle is Myriam’s son Raymond, in the middle of the couch with Henry on his lap, is Mryiam’s husband Raymond, yes his name is Raymond also. On the far right with Sammy on one leg, and Patrick on the other leg staring at his human is the lethally handsome Scott Smith.

Dinner Talk With Sammy & Family

Good evening friends.

Once again Friday always seem to show right on time. Its great to be here with everyone. My favorite part of each day is checking in with all of our friends in the mornings and touching base again in the evenings.

The mornings we all pump each other up for the day, and in the evenings on ELS, it’s kind of like families that gather around the dinner table where each family member has to say something about their day.

So I will start. Today, woke up and had two hazelnut flavored coffee, then like everyday, immediately regretted it because then my hands shake for two hours. Then i take care of all the posting throughout all our social platforms and website. After that, I take all the dogs outside, first Sammy & Jeffrey, then Kelly, Patrick and Henry together.

Then i usually tell Jorge, Vanessa’s dad that I am exhausted as if i put in a real hard day. After a 30 minute rest, i usually start working the platforms and website again.

Then i annoy Vanessa to leave work early everyday for at least two hours. Then the next morning, I hit the replay button and pretty much do the exact same thing. It might now sound sexy, but its peaceful and I’m happy.

Happy Birthday Sammy

Good morning friends.

We want to wish a Happy Birthday to Sammy, Deb Tsoi, Jessi Mantay and Stacy Shack. #GoPisces.

It’s a very special day for Sammy & Family. Sammy turns 10 years old today. We wish him a fantastic day and many more birthdays to come. I am going to share a little story of Sammy & I now.

So in 2004 I had a break up after a 5 year relationship. I Was pretty down and out to say the least. A few months later a friend of mine introduced me to this young gal from out of town. Much younger then me, normally I never rolled that way. But like I said, I was pretty down those days. Point being, I said to my friend, sure why not. Turns out the young gal and I to some degree hit it off and went with it. Within in a few months, she said to me, I saw a dog today on 13th street and 6th avenue and I want to bring him home. Having grown up with dogs, I said absolutely yes. Continue reading →

Jennifer and family for Throwback Thursday

Good morning friends.

Today we have Jennifer Bloetjes Cusack with her two lovely kids and Sammy wishing us all a great Thursday. This picture is from June of 2013. It was a beautiful day. As you can see in the back right is our friend Karen holding Henry, the Soldier of Love.

We had many friends come see us that day in Central Park. And here we are in 2015 and the journey continues and keeps getting better. Jennifer and family are still great friends to Sammy & Family.

Happy Birthday Vanessa Martinez

Good morning friends.

Its Vanessa’s birthday today and we figured to post this fabulous picture of Kelly and her. Its always nice when a birthday falls on a Saturday. Its like winning twice for the price of one. I will tell you her age in Spanish, cuarenta y siete. Shhhhh.

As you can see Kelly is trying to say something to Vanessa. For the purposes of this post, lets just assume she is saying; “Happy Birthday Mom”

Late afternoon we are getting Patreeko Groomed, and then Henry tomorrow. New groomers, new experiences, we’ll see.
