There’s a New Aviator in Town

Good morning friends.

When we think think about Aviation, we immediately think of The Wright Brothers, Amelia Earhart, Howard Hughes and in today’s times, Jet Blue.  But if history has taught us anything, new innovators and innovations are always in the works.

Well my friends; There’s a new Aviator in Town.  He may not be the conventional aviator like the one’s listed above, but make no mistake, he’s the real deal.  Friends, let me introduce to you; “The Sammyator”

Have a great Thursday.

Small Tweaks, Big Gains

The Good News Channel

Small tweaks, big gains.

Good morning friends. slogans and Cliches have been around for centuries for a reason.  Inside these slogans are built in algorithms tied to millions of examples of experience.

Laws of attractions are not voodoo science.  Its real, you will attract what you think.

This is why Sammy & Family created “The Good News Channel”  Its a place to visit positive attractions, blurbs, and inspirational quotes to set your day on the right foot.   Its a give and take platform.  It only takes a sentence or a couple of key words to change a person’s perception in an instant. Sometimes people feel down and out and they don’t have anything positive to say, been there many times myself, even more of a reason to throw yourself into a positive setting. Continue reading

You say Tomato, I say Tomahto

You say tomato and I say tomahto

Good morning friends.

This is a perfect depiction of when Henry is not sure if he heard “Dinner is ready” or if he heard his human family say; “let’s go to the Diner”

Dogs are so in tuned to certain words its incredible.  In any event Henry wins, because if dinner was ready, he would get food, and if we go to the diner, we would bring food back for him.  Win Win.

Happy Tuesday.

Cindy and Sammy wanted to Wish everyone a Great Thursday

Cindy Tang and Sammy

Good morning friends.

Say hello to Sammy & Family’s great friend Cindy Tang.  Cindy is from Hong Kong and when she was visiting NYC, she was kind enough to come see us.  This was a real treat for Sammy.  As you can see Cindy and Sammy hit it off right away. This picture is from October 2012, wow.  What a journey its been since then.

We just heard from Cindy last week during Sammy’s birthday Marathon.  It was great to hear from her again.  She’s a real nice person and Sammy & Family is always wishing her the best in life.

Happy Throwback Thursday.

Why is The Good News Channel so Compelling ?

GNC and Scott

Good morning friends.

Sammy & Family has landed some great features for the next few weeks on The Good News Channel.  We are excited to show those features to our ELS family.  I want our friends from around the world to know I’ve always dreamed about conveying news through story telling.

After 20 years of being tuned into financial news and Geopolitical news, I wanted to break stories with no pre determined agenda behind them.  I wanted to hear news from people like us, the unspoken experiences, dreams, passions and thoughts that never get heard.  The major networks send reporters into the field to get the news they want them to get.

Through my entire life I was always interested in the news that came from all of us.  Meaning from my friends, family and animals around me.  The fact that it never made its way to the media doesn’t mean it was not news to me.  That’s why I am so passionate about The Good News Channel.  Its because the news comes from all of us.  And now we have a platform so that our news doesn’t go unspoken or unheard.

Remember, even just one thought or positive news item we share might make the all the difference in somebody else’s day.  That is how we make the world a better place, one person at a time.

Sammy & Family Is so thankful for all the birthday love today

Birthday wrap up with Vanessa and Sammy

Good evening friends.

The gratitude we feel for the love you’ve all shown for Sammy’s birthday today is unprecedented.  I did our best to reply to everyone, and I think might have accomplished that. The comments and thoughts you all shared about what Sammy & Family means to you on a daily basis throughout the year, left us speechless.

It truly makes up happy the friendships we’ve developed with all of you after all the years.  We are so humbled by it.  I learned many years ago, 90 percent of success is just showing up.  What I mean by success is that we have been built friendships all over the world by consistently showing up.  I make it a point to Sammy & Family, that no matter what, we connect with our friends in the morning and we connect with our friends at night.

To me this has never been work, its a pure passion of mine.  I love animals and I love animal loving people.  ELS, Dr. Harp Seal and now The Good News Channel are the directions I want to take my life in.  Why? Because being around all you everyday with a common theme of our love for animals from a positive perspective, that makes me happy.

Many years ago I said to myself we are all the producers of our own movie called “Life”  So it comes down to what movie you want to write for your life.  For me that movie was ELS.  And thanks to all of you, its the best movie I’ve ever seen.

Signing off from Puerto Rico on day 63, Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.  Love always, Scott Smith

Flirting With The Globe with Karisa Klee

Good morning friends.

Please say hello to Karisa Klee. Originally from the Mid West and now is a full time attorney living in Atlanta with a serious case of wanderlust.  Her blog name pretty much sums up the story;  “Flirting with the Globe”  www.flirtingwiththeglobe.com

Sammy & Family loves her message.  Don’t let your full time job be the reason you don’t travel. “Flirting with the globe” is filled with travel tips for working stiffs.  Karisa’s blog caters to the travel obsessed people with limited annual vacation time.  It encourages working people to utilize their limited vacation time to venture outside their comfort zone, see the world and experience other cultures. Sounds like most of us should tune in.  You can also find Karisa on twitter; @FlirtWithGlobe and on Facebook at;  https://www.facebook.com/flirtingwiththeglobe.
