Good evening friends.

Vanessa and I just picked up Sammy from the groomers for his birthday haircut. I love this picture. Sammy is sporting his new look and Vanessa is sporting her shades and car.

As soon as Sammy saw we were back to pick him up from the groomers, he turned the place into complete mayhem, lol.

Life was good today on March 12, 2015. It didn’t have to be this way, Thank God that it is. Don’t forget Sammy’s birthday is this Saturday March 14th. The love of my life is going to be 10 years old. Yes, the love of my life, hands down, no question. See you guys in the morning.

Welcome to March from The Soldier of Love

Good evening friends.

The Soldier of Love came to welcome everyone to March. We heard our friends back East are getting hit with more snow. Now that is the definition of persistence at this point. I can feel the exhaustion out there, totally relate.

We hope everyone had a nice weekend. You know haircuts don’t change who we are but they sure make us feel refreshed. Look how revitalized Henry is looking right now. I waited too long to get them their haircuts, I will be more timely in the future. Sammy is getting groomed next Saturday right on time for his big 10th Birthday Bash.

I’m sure everyone feels a sense of relief knowing the details of Sammy & Family’s grooming status and such. We have been trying to keep the night posts a little lighter. Not to turn a blinds eye to things we have written on in the past, but there is a time and place for that. When we do write on those subjects I will give everyone a heads up in advance.

Life can be grand, for Sammy & Family that should include all the animals too. It just isn’t as sweet without their joy.

Good evening friends.

Hope everyone had a nice day today. Day 46 here in Puerto Rico. Today I finally branched out and walked three blocks away from the house to get a haircut. It was the first haircut since I’ve been here and a result I had really long surfers hair with a lot of split ends, lol. Thank God the barber was a real artist.

Today I worked on this Puppy’s Blog piece for 5 hours that I’ve been telling you about. This feature is so creative and imaginative that i almost want to show it tonight. It’s difficult to keep surprises.

Speaking of surprises, March 14th, Sammy is going to be 10 years old. I know I’ve mentioned that a few times already, but I want to make it a great bash for my boy. With that said, we are inviting picture posts with birthday messages from from friends around the world. Maybe we can do like a Sammy Birthday Marathon of posts going up all day long.

To me, Sammy shook up the world just like Muhammad Ali and Sylvester Stallone did.

Bailey Will Lead Us out Tonight

Tonight we have Bailey leading us out. He is a member of Linda Richards-Labrot and family. Bailey looks very much like Patreeko, Linda was saying they could be cousins, I think she’s right. As you can see Bailey is fit to be a King sitting high up on the bed like that. It’s funny how are pets all seem to take over the home.

Family members all have their own room, but pets, they’re room is every room. They are bound by nothing. Whichever room has something going on is the room they will occupy.

Sammy & Family would like to thank Linda for making the world a better place, one Bailey at a time.

Tonight Chanel Will Lead Us Out

Tonight we have Chanel leading us out. She is a member of Myriam Martinez and family. Yes, my sister in law. So technically I’m related to the dog as well.

Chanel is a Chihuahua and was born on September 22nd, 2014. She was given to Myriam as a present. What a great gift that was, we can all agree to that. Myriam describes her as; curious, sweet, delicate and playful. Great qualities right there.

Myriam and family also rescued 4 cats a while back. Five pets in total, plus a husband and a son. Now that is a full family if you ask me.

Sammy & Family would like to thank Myriam for making the world a better place, 5 animals at a time.

Kelly and Scott

Good evening friends.

Kelly and I Came to say goodnight. We hope everyone had a nice Tuesday. She and I are bonding real well. As you can see Patrick and Sammy are on my right. Henry is by my feet. I’m sure everyone really needed that visual.

This is what we call QT. Quality time. Kelly has gotten very attached to me. Vanessa thinks its because i sneak her treats. But its not, it’s because i have a kinship with animals. Anyway it was a really nice moment.

Again we want to say you are all in our thoughts with this weather. Just seems relentless at this point. God bless you all.

Prayers for Animals Finding Warmth and Safety Tonight

Good evening friends.

Tonight we have Juniper leading us out. Juniper is a stray cat that our close friend Susanne Day keeps well fed and taken care of. Susanne has not seen Juniper for a couple of days due to the weather conditions. Lets hope this kitty cat has found some warmth and safety.

Susanne is a great friends to animals. She has several rescues, she takes cares of strays and has a heart of gold. We had the great privilege of meeting the whole family last year.

Sammy & Family prays for all animals out there in the cold. We remind people, if its too cold for you, its too cold for your pets. It’s dangerously cold out there.

No lives will go in vain, no pain will go unnoticed. Amen. Dr. Harp Seal for Sammy & Family.

Cooper Will Lead Us out Tonight

We hope everyone had a nice weekend. Tonight we have Cooper leading us out. He is a one year old Pomeranian. Cooper is a member of Marylee Gluhoski and family.

His former owner would let him run the streets where he almost got hit by a car 3 times. That was all Marylee needed to know, now Cooper belongs to her. He is 3 pounds fully grown and is very loved.

Sammy & Family wants to thank Marylee for giving Cooper the life he deserves. We also want to thank you for all your efforts with rescue and animal welfare. Marylee makes the world a better place, several animals at a time.

If You’re Nice, We’re Friends, No Judgments

The motto is simple, if you’re nice, we’re friends, no judgments. As you can see Patrick and this little Dinosaur have become friends. Why ? Because the Dinosaur is nice. The fact that this little guy is inanimate is immaterial. This friendship looks as harmonious as any other friendship looks.

Sammy The Ageless Spirit

Good evening friends.

My boy came to say goodnight. The little guy will be 10 years old March 14th. When I first got him I lived on 38th Street and 1st Avenue. If anyone told me that in 10 years I would be living in Puerto Rico with 5 dogs and a new family, I would have said to those people; “You might want to check yourselves into Rehab”

Sammy & Family has to salute Instagram for connecting us to Vanessa Martinez and Family. And a salute to Social Media as a whole for all our friends from around the world.

From the time he was a baby, I always said; ” Sammy Loves The World” And all these years later, that notion has stood the test of time.

All those years I couldn’t straighten out, he was always there licking my forehead until i was better. Never failed me.
